Our current interest rates, account charges, card and digital banking fees, lending charges and trade finance commissions, as published in the Cairo Bank Uganda Tariff Guide effective 19 January 2026.
All charges are exclusive of the 15% government excise duty unless stated otherwise. Foreign exchange rates are quoted daily and are not listed here, so please ask any branch or call 0800 211 025 toll free for a live rate.

Utility payments on internet banking
UEDCL (Light) is charged at 2.5% on amounts from UGX 50 to UGX 20,000,000. MTN and Airtel mobile money transfers between UGX 500 and UGX 5,000,000, bank to wallet and wallet to bank, carry no bank charge.
